UDI Capital Region is excited to return to our highly anticipated Out of Town Development Tours after a four year hiatus!
Nashville, known as “Music City,” is the capital of the U.S. state of Tennessee and home to legendary music venues and attractions including the Grand Ole Opry House and Nashville’s own Music Row. Nashville/Davidson County is largely urbanized with extensive residential areas, and population growth continues to increase due to transportation advantages, labor supply, and development opportunities.
Our tour will look at how the municipality is handling challenges with housing affordability, increased demands on transit, gentrification of their downtown areas, and other development related issues. We will meet, mingle, and tour with local planners, private developers, and business association members who will share their successes and challenges.
