Connecting Indigenous and non-Indigenous decision makers to create opportunities for business
ABM Vancouver Island is taking place March 16 to 18, 2020 at the Songhees Innovation Centre in Victoria. More info here.
The Indigenous economy is having more than a moment. Now valued at over $30 billion it is expected to reach $100 billion within 5 years, according to the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business. As government steps into economic reconciliation, so are First Nation communities across BC and Canada looking to make their mark.
Many are actively creating economic development offices and staff. One of the first and most impactful steps they take is in developing their lands. They’ll look for partners in design and construction of buildings and communities.
UDI members are well positioned to be those partners. The region’s most economically active and interested Indigenous leaders will be at ABM Indigenous: Vancouver Island. It’s a great time and cost efficient way to meet them in an environment built on trust, where each party can discover the right fit for projects.
Connect to a new market and a new economy before your competition does!
ABM offers a 10% discount on registration fees for UDI members.
