Pacifica Housing - Project Manager

Pacifica Housing Advisory Association (Pacifica Housing) has been providing safe and affordable homes for almost 35 years and is one of the largest non-profit housing providers on Vancouver Island. Pacifica Housing is a rapidly growing organization dedicated to meeting the housing and support needs of our community. Pacifica owns and/or operates 38 properties in addition to a number of programs. The annual budget is approximately $21M and the total staff complement is around 160 employees. The Project Manager is primarily responsible for supporting the Director of Community Estate in the successful delivery of all capital projects, including new properties under development as well as capital improvements in the existing portfolio; ensuring the organization’s property portfolio is actively enhanced and well managed; other duties assigned by the Director of Community Real Estate.

CRD - Senior Development Coordinator

The Senior Project Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the planning, approvals process, project management, design and construction of housing development projects. Prepares contract scope of work, detailed cost estimates, request for proposals and tender documents. Reviews design drawings. Provides technical expertise to consultant teams. One position focuses on the planning and development of housing projects, and the second position focuses on overseeing the construction of housing projects. This position requires a clear criminal record check. The applicant/incumbent will be required to undergo a criminal record check in order to work in this position and to report to their supervisor if any criminal charges are laid against them that may be related to their employment in this position.
